On the 26th September and the 14th October, members of the Nostradamus project had the pleasure of welcoming the European Commission (EC) and the planned future hosting entity (FHE) of the testbed, Joint Research Centre (JRC) Ispra to the Nostradamus testbed in the CNES site in Toulouse. The purpose of the visits was to provide insight into the initial setup of the testbed and to show a series of technical demonstrations and collaborative sessions within the framework of EuroQCI.
These sessions aimed to share the progress achieved in building the QKD testbed, offer the visitors a first insight into the future platform, and foster constructive discussions on the next steps of the Nostradamus project.
The demonstrations included both functional and attack simulation tests, illustrating the bench capacities and instrumentation developed as part of the Nostradamus project.
We would like to thank the EC and JRC for their visit, their active participation, and the quality of the exchanges.
The Nostradamus Testbed is an exceptional opportunity for manufacturers to cooperate with the project in providing test vehicles allowing their equipment to be one of the first to be evaluated against the initial tests to ensure readiness of future certification.
